"Women in the Word" is a women's Bible study group held on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Emmanuel's Media Center. The group has just completed Beth Moore's "Jesus, the One and Only", an in-depth, interactive study including video lectures taped on location in Jerusalem and the places where Jesus walked in Israel. Currently, the group is engaged in a six-week study on RUTH entitled "Reversing Life's Greatest Losses" by Jack Hayford.
Started in 2004 with seven women, the group has served approx. 70 women to date. In 2005, the group sponsored its first Spring Women's Conference, Daughters of the King, with an attendance of 95 women! Three more well-attended conferences followed in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
