Junior Youth September – December Events 2010

Friday, September 10^th - Open Gym – Come and play a game of “Moon Ball” in the gym.      Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  $1.00 pizza will be available.  We will also have Bible Study.

Sunday, September 12^th – Junior Youth Sunday – We will help out with all three services.

Friday- Sunday, October 8-10 – Junior Youth Retreat at Whisper Mountain – Our fall retreat will be again at Whisper Mountain.  Whisper Mountain is “Tucked away in the Western part of North Carolina, a small-sized ministry exists with a big-sized purpose!  As a Youth Camp, Backpacking, and Retreat facility, the groups & individuals that come to our 130 acres find the beauty to be peaceful, the fun & adventure purposeful, the time away refreshing & meaningful!”   Cost $85.  We will need a commitment by September 10^th.

Sunday, October 10th - CROP Walk more details to come soon!

Sunday, October 17^th – Corn Maze – Let’s take some time to find our way through the corn maze.  We will meet at 2:00 – 4:30 pm, upper parking lot of ELC.  $TBA

Saturday, November 13^th – Help at Manna Food Bank – Meet at Manna Food Bank at 9 am – 12 pm.  Parents are welcome to come help.

Saturday, November 20^th – Kids Against Hunger –   Meet at church at 9:00 am – 12 pm.  We will be packing bags of food at Children Mission Hospital.  We will meet at ELC upper parking lot, time TBA. 

Sunday, December 12^th – Junior Youth Sunday – We will help out with all three services.
