Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies and Classes
Fall 2010-Spring 2011
As we finish the summer program of Faith Incubators, intergenerational Sunday School, we look forward to several wonderful options for adult bible study starting this fall.
GENESIS, PART I AND II, Life Light Series led by Pastor Will Hansel and Mary Lawson (year long)
THE BOOK OF JOHN PART I AND II, Life Light Series led by Jon Burroughs (year long)
IT’S NOT TOO LATE: ENCOURAGING ADULT CHILDREN IN THE FAITH DVD Series led by Christi Lorenz (Fall 2010). This class is designed for families with grown children who are struggling with their faith. Never Too Late will encourage you, for you are not alone, and show you it is never too late for God to use you to point your adult child’s heart toward Christ.
THE FOUNDATION FOR CHRISTIAN PARENTING, led by Christi Lorenz (Winter 2011.) This class is a combination of several resources, but primarily based out of Proverbs.
FIREPROOFING YOUR MARRIAGE, THE LOVE DARE led by Christi Lorenz (Spring 2011, if there is enough time to present it, otherwise it will be offered in the Fall of 2011)
AN EXPLORATION OF LUTHERAN DOCTORINE led by Pastor McFarland (Fall 2010 in the sanctuary)
MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY
The Book of Isaiah, Life Light Series led by Cinthia Milner. (If you have questions or would like to join this study, please contact Cinthia directly at 683-8860.)
SENIOR HIGH BIBLE STUDY
The History of Israel: A study of the books of Samuel, Kings and Chronicles led by Cinthia Milner. This study will be done directly from scripture, with presentations on the historical context, and instruction in personal bible study, known as Hermeneutics.
